Build community through the arts and sciences

FONDAZIONE KENTA

Encourage critical thinking across disciplines by providing a space to work and exhibit, an environment to create, and a platform to exchange ideas

Fondazione Kenta is a non-profit foundation that opened its doors in 2019. Imagined by Marco and Giorgio Alverà as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas and a community space where diverse backgrounds converge. It takes its primary inspiration from Kenta Alverà, writer, art historian and pioneering women's rights activist across the 1900s. The multi-story building that houses Fondazione Kenta was built in the 1930’s for what was then a wool yarn factory, and is located in the heart of Milan’s artisanal district known as Isola
